In recent decades, the way in which heating and hot water is distributed in large residential and commercial buildings has been changing – moving towards community heating networks, rather than individual systems. For the delivery of our services to be executed safely, the distribution and infrastructure of our output must be carefully designed. Heat Interface Units (HIU), also known as Utility Cupboards, are created with the purpose of distributing hot water and heating from an energy centre to the units within the building, whenever it is required.

HIU cupboards are specifically designed for every project and takes into account the arrangement of the building and specific requirements that will be needed. The infrastructure must allow for the power from the energy room (typically in the basement) to then be distributed throughout the building, right to the very top.
